On Friday, kids learned about paragraph writing and will be doing their first paragraph for homework this weekend. I brainstormed with the students in class, and we did a sample paragraph together too.

Dear Parents,
In your child's communication book, we glued a notice about the upcoming Storytown Festival/ Halloween Celebration. Please read it carefully and contact me if you have any questions.
Next week, students will be writing their very first English paragraph!
Also, parent teacher conferences will be held on Saturday, October 22nd. I'm looking forward to meeting many of you to discuss how we can help your child reach their potential.

Dear Parents,
Congratulations, students have completed their first English exams. I am passing back the exams to kids today and I will also go over the exams with them in class. Very important- Please make sure your child makes exam corrections with a blue color pencil, and sign EACH exam (English, math, and science). Your child should bring the exams back to me on Wednesday. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
After our exams this week, we started lesson 6.
