Dear Parents and Guardians,
All the books have been sent back home so that students can study. Please have your child bring back their phonics books on Monday. I'll return the phonics books to the students again. I will tell the students when they need to bring the books back after exams.
We began our review already this week, and will continue next week.

Today, your child has glued the test scope in their communication book. The test scope shows what will be covered on their exam. The first exam is coming up soon, on Thursday, October 6th and Friday, October 7th. I will slowly start sending books home for them to study next week. In the meantime, students can study from their language handbook. They have to review 40 spelling words, 20 weekly sentences and 202A also needs to study their vocabulary words.
Next week, we will finish up lesson 4, and then start our review of Lessons 1-4.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Today, students had their first weekly test of 2nd grade. I will grade them and return them to students on Monday. Please make sure to sign the test and have your child make any necessary corrections. Thank you for your cooperation!
Also, the first exams are coming up already! Students will get the test scopes in their communication books next week. We will continue using the books during the last week of September, but we will slowly send home the book, by 9/30 the latest.

Dear Parents,
Next Friday, students will have their first weekly test for Lesson 2.
Students in 202A class will be tested on 7 of the spelling words and 3 of the vocab words. Students in 203B will be tested on all 10 spelling words. Both groups will be tested on all 5 weekly sentences.
Also next Friday is our Open Day. I look forward to meeting you all!

Welcome to second grade! I am pleased to be your child's English teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. Please make sure to look carefully through your child's communication book. It has important information inside.
Students have received all their English books now. (Class 202, due to the class shut down, your child will get the rest of the books next week). Please make sure they are all covered and that your child takes good care of them over the school year.
Next week will be a short week. We will have a field trip on Wednesday, and there is no school on Friday.
